Sharing and Caring: AES Wins Giveaway Isuzu Truck

The lucky winner of the Isuzu Ready-to-Work NPR 45-155 Tradepack giveaway is AES Equipment Solutions, a Western Australian mining and resource equipment services provider.

The competition was run as part of Isuzu Australia Limited’s (IAL) 50-year celebration to mark the milestone of the brand’s 50th year of trading trucks in Australia.

“AES entered the competition for the opportunity to support the Isuzu product and share the Isuzu brand with our clients,” said AES Manager, Alex Cooper.

“We build our equipment on medium and heavy-duty truck cab chassis. When we found out that we were the winner of the NPR 45-155 Tradepack, we thought about how to get the most out of the truck. We decided to do that by sharing the prize we won to charitable institutions.”

The NPR 45-155 Tradepack that was part of the giveaway comes from Isuzu’s Ready-to-Work range of pre-bodied trucks and is one of the most popular light-duty trucks on the market.

Perfect for field service providers, civil engineering, tradespeople and small business owners the NPR 45-155 Tradepack finds a home in a range of applications and industries.

Strong Foundations

AES manufactures a wide range of custom vehicles, including vacuum trucks, fitter and boilermaker trucks, and crane trucks.

“From vehicle hire to support services, we offer a comprehensive end-to-end solution for our customers.

“Over the last five years, we’ve diversified after customers have asked for a wider range of equipment. We’ll continue to develop our product and invest heavily in our research and development to ensure we always meet and surpass the industry demands today and tomorrow,” he said.

Good Move

“Taking the win of the truck and then selling it to donate the funds to charitable donations, especially after the difficult and tumultuous past few years had by all, is a commendable choice,” said IAL Head of Marketing and Customer Experience John Walker.

“It is always inspiring to see charitable work and outreach programmes be incorporated into a company's ethos and that is exactly what AES Equipment Solutions has done here.

“The goodwill work they are involved in speaks for itself and Isuzu applauds the approach,” said Mr Walker.

Helping Hand

The funds from the NPR 45-155 Tradepack sale will be used across a variety of charitable ventures.

“AES sponsors the ‘Count Me In’ Round for the WAFL (Western Australian Football League) and WAFLW (Western Australian Football League Women’s), supporting and providing opportunities for people with disabilities and their families.

“Another organisation we hold close to our hearts is the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation – we participate in the Christmas in July program every year. And as part of the NRW Holdings Group (AES Equipment Solutions’ parent company), we participate in programs such as the annual Winter Appeal for the Perth Homeless Support Group,” Mr Cooper said.

“With the proceeds from selling the truck, we can support the good work and build awareness of the charities we’re involved in.”

Applause for the Cause

AES also runs onsite work experience programs for both high school students and those already working. The programs provide hands-on experience within different trades in the mining and engineering sector, creating opportunities that can lead to future career paths.

“It’s our belief that it’s important to give back and for AES to support the people in our community. We have been very fortunate as an organisation and we want to see that extended to the team members that make AES the great company it is, and our communities,” said Mr Cooper.

The Tradepack was collected on 17 January from Major Motors, Forrestfield, much to AES’ delight.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Dealer Principal Bob Pearce, Sales Manager Frank Johnston and the team at Major Motors

“AES always receives the highest quality of service from the Major Motors team, and we look forward to continuing that relationship in the future,” said Mr Cooper.
