Isuzu Coming in Heavy for HIRE24

In today’s society of service on-demand, the concept of waiting is a very real struggle.

For Australian trade and transport businesses who require maximum efficiency from their operations, including the procurement of capital equipment, this also rings true.

Confirming this sense of urgency, recently released industry research from Isuzu Australia reveals that 71 per cent of 1,300 respondents believed it is critical to their businesses to have access to application-centric, turn-key solutions—a figure that has increased significantly from those surveyed in 2020.

In the hire industry, the expectation of efficient equipment and machinery that is available, ready, and capable of working at an hour’s notice, is doubly important for all parties involved.

As pioneers of the ‘Ready-to-Work' concept for the local market, Isuzu Australia is pleased to be attending HIRE24 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (4-6 June 2024), with a range of Isuzu Trucks and Isuzu Power Solutions product built for getting down to business—fast.

Reliability is everything

Over three days of product, technology, and thought leadership showcases, HIRE24 is an exhibition designed for industry, by the industry.

“Our customers in the hire industry require reliable product and an OEM partner that will back them up,” commented National Sales Manager - Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS), Troy Lawson.

“Not just in the sense that their trucks and engines will get the job done, but that their OEM will work with the business after the sale with stock and parts availability, great customer service, future products.

“As ever, HIRE24 is a great opportunity for businesses to network, plan for procurement and gain insight into product development that will satisfy their client’s needs.”

Power play

Isuzu Power Solutions are displaying the pre-assembled 4JJ1X Power Unit and a GS020-PTY Generator Set, which can hit the ground running as remote power solutions for dry hire uses, namely in the civil engineering and construction spaces.

The 4JJ1X Power Unit features a three-litre turbocharged intercooled diesel engine with a common rail direct injection fuel system designed for low consumption, low noise, and low maintenance.

The GS020-PTY generator set has a rated output of 20 kVA / 16 kWe (Prime) and is powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder Isuzu 4LE1 engine.

This 20 kVA generator features a sleek weather-proof canopy, meaning clients can continue to work through tough weather conditions.

All IPS power units and generators are meticulously made in Japan by Isuzu, and are designed for Australian conditions, safety, and servicing requirements, noted Mr Lawson.

“Feedback from the market is what drives the design of all Isuzu products including our range of power solutions,” he said.

“Our design process considers Australia's weather and temperature conditions, the unique range of applications, and the compliance requirements of operators working in industries such as the dry hire.

“Whether it's powering demountable buildings or providing energy to capital equipment, our products can confidently match almost any application, and can be trailer mounted for added mobility.”

Hire demand

Putting power to the pedal, the popular NPR 45/55-155 Tipper  will be showing how it can help shave time off jobs and get more done in a day.

The NPR 45/55-155 Tipper comes with the option of a 4,500 kg GVM model (9,000 kg GCM) suitable for car licence holders which packs up to 1,200 kg of payload. A beefier 5,500 kg GVM model (9,000 kg GCM) upgrades the available payload to a generous 2,200 kg for customers needing a bit more in the back.

The NPR is built tough with a heavy-duty, all-steel Japanese ShinMaywa-produced body, renowned for durability in the most demanding of environments.

As with all Tippers across Isuzu's Ready-to-Work range, the NPR Tipper is specified with work-smart features, including an auto-release two-way tailgate, and hydraulic hoist on the tray with 20-second raise and lower time that can be operated from the driver's seat via a cab-mounted tipper control lever.

Isuzu Australia staff on stand at HIRE24 will be eager to demonstrate how products—well-known throughout the industry for their reliability—can be put to work without delay.
